We created startups and invested in them. We have had successes and we have experienced failures. We know how difficult it is to build and run a company. The only thing that is universal is people. We devote a significant part of our time to building and maintaining relationships based on mutual kindness.
We want to work and we like it
Yes, we like our job. Everything we have done so far has required a lot of effort. We believe in hard work because it pushes humanity forward. And this directly translates into our commitment to relationships with all partners. Combined with kindness, we feel we can attract great leaders, entrepreneurs and talent who share our values. They can count on us to cooperate as we would expect.
Legacy
Polish translations do not, in our opinion, reflect the meaning of the word. We have created a so-called "light green" fund, that is, one that actively promotes ESG aspects. For us, it's not just slogans and marketing. It is a promise of value to all those who will work with us. We want to change our immediate environment by promoting the right attitudes
Time
A key resource that is non-renewable. On the one hand, we greatly respect our time and that of our partners. On the other hand, the fund was established by a university with over 100 years of tradition, which our children and grandchildren will attend. That is why we also want to cooperate in the long term, if it will create value for the fund and the enterprises themselves.
Engineering and financial assessment
We have different educational backgrounds, which we decided to use. We have created a process that assesses hard aspects (e.g. technology) and soft aspects (team competences) as part of systematic assessment steps. The idea is to avoid a subjective approach, which means being able to provide structured feedback.
We understand that some technology companies require many years of work and development before they reach the appropriate scale. Sometimes such a process can take 5 years, and sometimes even up to 10 years. Our mission is to create a fund that will stay with the Warsaw University of Technology for years, co-creating an investment ecosystem closely linked to the university's scientific and technological base.
